- YHAI Kodaikanal - Munnar Winter Trekking Expedition - 2012
- Date : 23rd December 2012 to 5th January 2013.
- YOUTH HOSTELS ASSOCIATION OF INDIA, Tamilnadu State Branch is organising the Winter Trekking Expedition in the beautiful region of Kodaikanal - Munnar from 23rd December 2012 to 5th January 2013.
- Eight Groups : Each Group Seven Days Trek : (23rd Dec.2012 to 05th Jan. 2013) First Group will report on 23-12-12 and Fifth group will report on 30-12-12.
- Camp Duration: 6 nights & 7 days
- PARTICIPATION FEES: Member Rs.4100, Non-Member Rs.4200, The fee includes simple vegetarian food, accommodation, supervision, expert guidance and equipment for 7 Days & 6 Night.
- HOW TO PARTICIPATE : Those who are interested to participate should send their bio-data along with a Bank Draft for Rs.4,000 / Rs.4,100 favouring YHAI, Tamil Nadu State Branch latest by 15th Dec. 2009 and mail it to Youth Hostels Association of India, Tamil Nadu State Branch, 2-D, Viswas Flats, Pillaiyar Koil Street, Nesapakkam, West K.K. Nagar, Chennai - 600 078. For participants below the age of 15, a consent letter from their parents is essential.
- NILGIRI HILLS TREKKING EXPEDITION - 2012 (OOTY) : NEW ROUTE
- Once again, We welcome you to trek in the enchanting Nilgiris with us. The purpose of this programme is to offer the youth new trekking region in the Nilgiris and providing a healthy outdoor activityduring the week end.
- Six Groups - Each Group Six Days Trek
- Date : 14th Oct. to 24th Oct. 2011
- First group will report on 14.10.2011
- Last group will report on 19.10.2011
- PARTICIPATION : Participation in the programme is open to all educational Institutions, Individuals and recognized units of YHAI,Participants have to bear all travel expenses from their place to the base camp and back.
- PARITICIPATION FEES : Rs.3900/- MEMBER, NON-MEMBER:Rs.4000/- The fee includes simple vegitarian food,accommodation,supervision expert guidance and equipment for 6 days.
- HOW TO PARTICIPATE :Those who are interested to participate should send their bio-data along with a Bank draft for Rs.3500/- favouring YHAI, Tamil Nadu State Branch and mail to youth Hostels Association of India,Tamil Nadu state Branch,2-D Viswas Flats,Pillaiyar Koil street,Nesapakkam,West K.K.Nagar, Chennai - 600 078.
- REPORTING: All participants will report at 2.30 p.m on the reporting date allotted to them at OOTY Youth Hostel.
