It's not possible for everyone to be part of every adventure activities but here we are giving u all the activities @ one roof so be ready for this..
On 22nd and 23rd Feb. 2009 "YHAI BHARUCH, YHAI VADODARA GOTRI and YHAI BHAVNAGAR UNIT" is organizing a Family Camping with trekking cum Adventure activities to VishalKhadi at Rajpipla - Netrang Road.

Our activities are : (Each activities are Optional)
Jungle Camping, Boating to Island, Nature Trail, Jungle Walk, Bird Watching, Sky Gazing, Camp Fire, Cultural Show( If Possible), Soft or Hard trek to Near by hills. Hill Climbing And Valley View.
Camp fee : RS 300/- Includes accommodation (Tent accommodation for gents and Children & separate cottages with atteched toilets for ladies and Girls), breakfast, lunch on both days, Dinner, evening tea, Boating Charges, Forest Entry Fee, Adventure activities, equipment's & guide charges.

12.15 noon reach to Camp site "Vishal Khadi" via Rajpipla and check in
1:00 PM to 2:30 PM Lunch at Camp site and Rest.
2:30 PM to 3:30 PM Transferred to Iceland by Boat in a group.
4:00 PM to 4:30 Tea - Coffee break at Iceland.
4:45 PM to 6:00 Transferred to Camp site from Iceland by Boat in a group.
6.00 PM Freshen yourself - basically free time.
8:00 PM to 9:00 PM Dinner
9.30 PM to 11:00 PM Camp fire/Cultural Show and Briefing on activities of day 2
11:00 PM to 5:30 AM Sleeping time
Day 2: 23rd of Feb 2009 MONDAY :
5:30 AM Wake up (Optional)
5:30 AM to 6:00 AM Tea
6:00 AM to 9:30 AM Nature Trail / Jungle walk / Bird Watching / Soft or Hard Trek.
9:30 AM to 10:00 AM Tea with breakfast.
10:00 AM to 12:00 AM Freshen yourself - basically free time.
12:30 onwards Lunch
1.30 PM Back to Bharuch through Rajpipla, Jhagadia and Gumandev.
You have to bring....
A haversack/Backpack to put in all the things to be carried, so that one has ones hands free while trekking. Pleases do not carry sling bags or Jholas.
Trekking or sports shoes, (sleeper if necessary),
Torch, candles compulsory.
water bottle (min. 1 ltr.), carry mat, bed sheet if you wish, Cap/scarf, warm clothes, Additional pair of clothes.
Personal things (like tooth paste, tooth brush, Towel, napkin, soap etc.) and personal medical kit.,
Please avoid bringing valuables, jewelry or expensive things. We accept no responsibility for anything that is misplaced.
Note:
YHAI BHARUCH Unit Members will be given first preference for each programme and second preference will be to YHAI Members of any other unit and non members will be considered thereafter.
The ecology of the wilderness is very fragile. Be eco-friendly.
Smoking & Drinking are strictly prohibited. Anyone found smoking or consuming alcohol will be expelled from trek there and then itself.
Keep the campsite clean
Everyone has to follow the instructions of Camp In-charge & instructors
This is not an ordinary trip. It is ideal for those who travel to learn, grow and enjoy nature, not rest and shop.
The trip is subjected to various parameters. We advise participants to pack only curiosity and leave expectations at home.
We will try our best to follow the above mentioned itinerary. However, there may be certain last-minute changes to the itinerary due to factors which remain out of our control.

YHAI Bharuch unit One day Trek at Zarwani on 18th Jan.2009

YHAI BHARUCH UNIT ONE DAY TREK TO ZARWANI - Shulpaneshwar WLS. on 18th January 2009.
One’s again a popular trek of Zarwani was oganised by YHAI Bharuch Unit & YHAI Vadodara Gotri Unit on Sunday, 18th January 2009 with 90 trekkers from Ahmedabad, Bhavnagar, Surat, Udhana, Balasinor, Vadodara & Bharuch YHAI Unit.
We started the trek from Sulpaneshwar WLS at 9.30 AM after morning breakfast at our Base/ Reporting Camp at Sulpaneshwar Temple. After a trek of almost 2 KM the trekkers were divided in two group such as group No.1 for soft trek of 3 KM ( Mainly for Senior Citizen) and group 2 for hard trek of 4 KM, Majority of group decided to have hard one. After the trek all trekkers had wonderful bath at Choita water fall at Dhir Khadi - Zarwani from 12.30 to 2.00 PM. A delicious lunch was provided near by water fall side and then all of us had a soft trek of about 2 KM to reach Sulpaneshwar WLS main gate at 5.00 PM. Our return journey started at 5.30 PM after tea break with all sweet memories of the trek with joyful faces of trekkers.

• NOTE : It was our proud privilege that our Gujarat State Hon. Secretary Shri Amarsinhbhai Dharajia joined us to have this beautiful trek. Shri Amarsinhbhai along with YHAI Vadodara & YHAI Bharuch Unit official also visited newly developed and one of the best camp site of Gujarat such as Zarwani camp site and Vishalkhadi Camp site.

To connect with the Nature in its purest form & on a popular demand from our members YHAI - BHARUCH Unit & YHAI Vadodara Gotri Unit are ones again Organising a ONE DAY TREK At DHIR KHADI - ZARWANI - Shulpaneshwar Wild life Sanctuary - Gora. (With help from Deputy Conservator of Forest, East part, Rajpipla) in the dense and beautiful forest of Rajpipla (Narmada District) range on 18th January 2009 (SUNDAY). Come and see What lies beyond the hill, peep into the unseen and have a feel of water fall. All the members are invited to grab this opportunity to escape from day to day routine life and enjoy the nature’s beauty.

PROGRAMME.
06.00 AM : SHARP Departure from Bharuch - GNFC Township
05.30 AM : SHARP Departure from VADODARA Youth Hostel
08.00 AM : Reach at SULPANESHWAR MANDIR and have TEA & Breakfast
08.30 AM : Start for SULPANESHAR WILD LIFE CENTURY and reach there by 08.45.
08.45 AM : Start TREK for 5 K.M. ZARWANI –CHOITA WATER FALL.- DHIRKHADI.
12.00 PM : Reach there and take bath in water Fall upto 01.30 PM
01.30 PM : Lunch near by water fall.
02.45 PM : Start trek for Mota Thawadia for 3 k.m. (short & plain trek)
05.00 PM : Reach Mota Thawadia.
05.15 PM : TEA Break
05.30 PM : Return journey to Bharuch or Vadodara.
08.00 PM : Reach Bharuch or Vadodara.

• FEES : Rs. 350/- Per participant for YHAI members. (The amount of fee mention will cover your transportation in Bus, Forest entry fee, Morning Tea, Lunch at Water fall Site, & Evening Tea.)
  Things To Bring : EMPTY Water bottle of minimum 2 liters for 5 KM trek, Sun Glasses, Walking Shoes which are comfortable to you, Walking stick, Cloth for Bathing in water fall, Camera, Binocular, personal items if required AND OF COURSE GOOD MOOD & HIGH SPIRIT.
• IMPORTANT NOTE :
• 1. Trekking is not a picnic, It's Adventure Sports activity and you are participating at your risk.
• 2. Please note that this is an environment friendly trek. Do not litter any wrappers or spoil the trail in any way. In case you find any wrapper, plastic bag or anything left by others on the way, please carry the same with you and deposit at the base camp.
• 3. Use of alcohol‘s and narcotics of any kind and smoking are strictly prohibited during the programme.

YHAI MEMBERSHIP DETAILS :

Youth Hostels Association Membership : Any person, legally a resident of India and with clear antecedents / background and a non-Indian on production of proof of stay for more than a year for studies/training etc, as sanctioned by the Govt. of India, can enroll as a member of the YHA of India, subject to the condition that the Membership Card remains the property of the Association and can be asked to surrender at any time for breach of the rules and regulations and cause of damage to the objectives of the Association and the Movement.The Membership year runs from 1st Oct. to 31st Dec. of the following year, i.e. 15 months.Most of the State Branches of YHAI and Youth Hostel Wardens are authorized to enroll YHAI members and issue Membership Cards.Membership Card is not valid, unless a latest photograph is affixed on it and stamped by the issuing authority. It must also have signature of card holder.Possession of Membership Card does not automatically give the right for accommodation in the hostel unless confirmed in writing.Various kinds of membership are :Annual individual Membership (Seniors: 18 years of age and above; Juniors: above 11 years and below 18 years of age). The Association reserves all right to refuse or terminate Membership.Life Membership (Above 18 years of age).Institutional Membership for Govt. ONE DAY TREK AT JUNARAJ -KARJAN DAM

• ON 14th DECEMBER 2008 -SUNDAY.
• Total Participant : 60 From Vadodara,Balasinor & GNFC Narmadanagar.

YHAI Vadodara unit arranged this trek with YHAI Bharuch Unit.Trek begins by a Bus and Taxi drive from Vadodara,Bharuch and Balasinor YHAI unit members to Karjan Dam site via Rajpipla town of Narmada district, reaching the Irrigation dam site at 8.30 am.Many of the group decided against doing a full hard trek designated as the best in Gujart by experienced trekkers.Others were then transported by a Boat to a spot for a short sweet 3 kms trek to the destination-Juna Raj Village Sarpanchs' house ( Mr. Gopalbhai)on opposite edge of the banks of the new reservoir created after the Karjan river was stopped and a DAM built in 1990.The rest of those who wanted to enjoy the grind with the nature in the 'heat' of december across steep slopes of many hills to cross -9 kms - started on the only trek or goat track that reaches this village now by land.Boats are used for the main to and fro of the man and the material. Sarpanch ji acted as a supplier and health worker too for the isolated people in the inner most tribal area of the satpuda ranges of the Narmada district of Gujarat. We thanks all participant of YHAI for compliting this tough trek within time limits. Our thanks to Chetanbhai Joshi of YHAI Vadodara Gotri unit for arranging this trek for thier Unit.
