• YHAI GUJARAT STATE  Exploring the Sasan Gir & Mount Girnar Trekking 2013

• Gujarat is the unique State of India Having longest seashore, border touches Pakistan, rich Cultural heritage, leading roll in religious activities, developed industrial zone, Number one in Diamond Industries & cotton corps, many birds – animals – marine sanctuaries people are loving and enjoying every festival (Famous for Navratri garba) .We try to explore the soul of Asiatic Lions as per last census 411 Lions are residing in total area (1412sq km) Sasan Gir with many other animals and birds. Adjoning historical places like Mount Girnar in Junagadh as well Somnath Temple (Jyotirling) on sea shore of Arabian Sea. We Youth Hostels Association of India, Gujarat State Branch with help of Forest Department as well Youth Activities & Services Departments of Gujarat Government invite you to take part in our programme, the programme is conducted second time this year by one of the most our active Bhavnagar Unit.
• Purpose of the Programme : The purpose of the programme is to expose the YHAI member to a greater adventure and to rough out the rigours of plodding through forest with the sense of  love for Nature and outdoor recreation activity aiming at promoting National Integration.
• Reporting Dates : First Group - 17 to 23 October 2013, Second Group - 20 to 26 October 2013 Participant has to report at Ahmedabad, before 8 am on reporting date. Ahmedabad is accessible By Air or Train.
• Fees : Rs.5500/- (Member), Rs.5700/- (Non Member) which covers stay in dormitory / tent accommodation, simple vegetarian food,guidance, Jeep Safari & forest entry fees, for the convenience of participants we are arranging vehicle A'bad to A'bad.
• Programme Schedule
• 1: A'bad to Sasan Gir by Bus - 360kms (8 hours)
• 2: Jungle Trail Trek & Somnath Temple Darshan
• 3: Devalia Park & Jeep Safari in Lion Forest
• 4: Junagadh 60km-by bus & Short Trek-Sight seeing
• 5: Trek in Girnar Forest
• 6: Tough trek of Seven Peaks of Mount Girnar
• 7: Depart for A'bad 300km (8 hours) [Programme, Schedule & Routes are subject to change without prior notice ]
• Things to Bring : Light woolen cloth, plate, spoon, mug, water bottle, trekking shoes, torch, personnel medicine, toilet kit, slipper, three pairs of cloth. We will give Cap as souvenir. (Lungi, Burmuda, gawn is not allowed in campsite.)

• Cancellation : Notice before 15 days 50% fee refund less than that No refund.
• Warning : Carrying of non bio-degradable material in Gujarat is an offence. Smoking, use of alcohols and narcotics of any description are strictly prohibited during programme.
